Who we are and how to contact us

What we collect

Contact and enquiry forms — when you use our forms (for example to request a call back or an instant quote), we collect the details you enter: typically your name, email address, phone number, business name and details, and your message. If you begin filling in our quote form and provide contact details but do not press submit, those partial details may also be saved so we can follow up on your enquiry.

AI chat assistant — our website chat answers general questions about our services. The messages you type are processed to generate replies, and if you choose to share contact details in the chat so we can follow up, we store those as an enquiry. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the chat.

Technical data — like most websites, our hosting provider keeps server logs (including IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and troubleshooting.

Why we use your data

We use your details to respond to enquiries and provide our services (steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and performance of that contract once engaged); to keep our website secure and improve our services (our legitimate interests); to operate analytics and marketing tools only where you have given consent through our cookie banner; and to meet legal and professional obligations that apply to accountancy practices, including record-keeping and anti-money-laundering requirements for clients.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the website and our practice: Hostinger (website hosting and email), Anthropic (the AI provider that processes chat messages to generate responses), and the form software that stores enquiries on our own website. Where providers process data outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as data protection agreements and standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return to us. If you become a client, we keep records for the periods required by law and by our professional obligations, after which they are securely deleted.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you; to have inaccurate data corrected; to ask us to delete data; to restrict or object to processing; to receive your data in a portable format; and to withdraw any consent you have given at any time. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we would welcome the chance to resolve your concern first.
