The dates that catch businesses out
Corporation tax is due 9 months and 1 day after your year-end — before the CT600 return itself (12 months). Private company accounts reach Companies House within 9 months. Online self-assessment and any balancing payment land on 31 January, the second payment on account on 31 July, P60s by 31 May, P11Ds by 6 July, and monthly CIS returns by the 19th.
Missing any of them triggers automatic penalties. Every Accountactical client gets every deadline diarised and filed ahead of time — get on the calm side of the calendar.
